Lilac Dress & Cane Fields

Finally I got to shoot outside! Convincing the boyfriend was not easy as he protested against playing part photographer, part daddy-on-duty, watching the baby and one thousand parts supportive best friend. But I have been craving a change of scenery for forever so I'm very grateful I got the opportunity.

I wanted to create an easy, bohemian look with sprinkles of wanderlust spirit and glam-azon vibes. Did I nail it? This gorgeous lilac dress I am wearing is from Saint Hadar Exchange (direct link ) and is currently on sale. It looks good on every body type and has these stylish side pockets. My best friend Karina bought one and I was blown away when I saw her in it. She's super short and curvy but the dress fit her like a glove. I think that's a testament to the versatility of this dress; it can be dressed up to look chic and formal, or dressed down for more casual settings.

Shooting outside was literal hell because the weather was fiery one minute and a thunderous downpour the next. I had such a hard time keeping my eyes open in the blinding sun but I pushed through it to create some decent shots. Check out the look below and some behind-the-scenes candids of baby and bae.

Until next time, may all your days be filled with good health and resounding laughter.

xo,
Jhalisa
